St. Louisan Jani Bunn Dedicates Boston Marathon Run to Children Battling Cancer

Today's Show Me Shout Out goes to Jani Bunn! Yesterday, the St. Louisan raced in her first ever Boston Marathon. Now, Jani might look familiar to Show Me St. Louis viewers. Jani is the mother of our dear friend, Nora Bunn. Last year, 7 year old, Nora passed away from DIPG, a childhood brainstem tumor. Throughout this battle and to this day, her parents share Nora's story hoping to help other families affected by brain cancer. Jani did just that in Boston! In yesterday's marathon, Jani created a prayer-athon. Each mile, was dedicated to a child and their family who is currently facing childhood cancer. Over 100 people, signed up to pray during a specific mile with those kids and their families in mind. Just one example of how Nora's sparkles continue to shine bright.
