Nora Bunn's Life Celebrated at First Friday Mass, Wake, Funeral

Nora Kay Bunn, the sister of junior Pat Laffey and Jack Bunn ’18, passed away on Thursday, March 6 at the age of seven after a yearlong fight with a brain tumor. Her funeral took place on Friday, March 14 at Christ the King Catholic Church.

Nora was remembered by her family for her love of family, friends, and God, her activity within her school and local community, and for being “a beautifully and perfectly made mix of sass and sunshine.”

Nora was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) in March 2024, a rare, aggressive, inoperable, and largely pediatric brain tumor with a survival rate of less than a year.
