Patoka (IL) Fall Festival

We are honored to announce that the Bunn Family, including Patoka native Jani Torrence, will serve as Grand Marshals for this year’s parade on Saturday, August 30 at 11am. 

The Bunn family—and their courageous 7-year-old daughter Nora—have touched hearts across our community and around the world during their brave journey this past year. Nora battled DIPG, a devastating form of childhood brain cancer, with the strength and spirit of a true princess warrior. Through every challenge, she never lost her love for Jesus or for others.

Her light shone brightly, even on the darkest days, and her sparkling legacy of love continues to inspire all who hear her story.

This year’s parade theme, “Leave a Little Sparkle Wherever You Go,” is a tribute to Nora’s sparkly spirit and the joy she brought to those around her. We look forward to celebrating her memory and honoring the Bunn family with love and gratitude.
